Legal Notice
This English version is provided as a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy between this text and the Spanish version of the Legal Notice (Aviso Legal), the Spanish version shall prevail.
Welcome to Casa Cordobán. On this page you will find, with the same clarity we like to put into everything we do, the legal information identifying who is behind this store and the rules governing the use of this website. This Legal Notice is published in compliance with the duty of information laid down in Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
1. Site owner identification
The website casacordoban.com (hereinafter, "the Website") is owned by:
| Owner | Álvaro García Dolera, a natural person trading under the commercial name "Casa Cordobán" |

| Address | Carrer del Comte d'Altea 55, 46005 València, Spain |

2. Purpose of the Website
The purpose of the Website is to present Casa Cordobán and to allow the online purchase of our footwear: calf-suede loafers handcrafted to order. Through the Website you can browse our products, place orders, contact us and access the store's legal and purchasing information.
The conditions governing the purchase of our products (prices, orders, shipping, right of withdrawal, warranties and all other aspects of the sale) are not set out in this Legal Notice but in our Terms and Conditions, which we recommend you read before placing any order. The processing of your personal data and the use of cookies are governed, respectively, by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, available on this Website.
3. Conditions of use
Accessing and browsing the Website confers the status of user and implies acceptance of this Legal Notice in the version published at the time of access. Access to the Website is free of charge, without prejudice to the connection costs charged by your provider.
As a user, you undertake to make appropriate use of the Website and, in particular, to:
- Use the Website in accordance with the law, good faith and public order, and not use it for unlawful purposes or purposes harmful to Casa Cordobán or third parties.
- Refrain from any action that could damage, overload or impair the normal operation of the Website, and from introducing or spreading viruses or other systems capable of causing damage.
- Not attempt to access restricted areas of the Website or other users' data.
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information in the Website's forms and purchase processes.
Casa Cordobán reserves the right to update the contents of the Website and this Legal Notice at any time, and to temporarily restrict or suspend access for technical, security or maintenance reasons, always endeavouring to keep any interruption to the minimum necessary.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
All contents of the Website — including, by way of example, the trademark and trade name "Casa Cordobán", the logo, texts, product photographs, images, graphic design, structure and selection of contents — are the property of Casa Cordobán or of third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by Spanish and European Union legislation on intellectual and industrial property.
Access to the Website does not grant you any rights over these contents. Their reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes and without the prior written authorisation of Casa Cordobán is prohibited. You may, of course, view the contents and print or download them for your own personal, private use.
Behind every photograph and every text in this store there is craftsmanship and dedication; we thank you for respecting it. If you would like to use any content from the Website (for example, for editorial or collaboration purposes), please write to us and we will be glad to consider your request.
5. Liability for contents
Casa Cordobán takes the greatest care to ensure that the information published on the Website is truthful, accurate and up to date, particularly information regarding the products, their characteristics and their prices. However, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of occasional errors; if we detect one, we will correct it as soon as possible, and if it affects an order already placed, we will inform you as provided in the Terms and Conditions.
Casa Cordobán shall not be liable for damages arising from any use of the Website contrary to this Legal Notice, nor for interruptions, failures or incidents of a technical nature beyond our control (including failures of the hosting platform or communication networks), without prejudice to the rights that consumer protection legislation grants you as a consumer, which are not limited by this Legal Notice.
6. Links
The Website may include links to third-party sites (for example, social networks or payment services). These links are provided solely for your convenience: Casa Cordobán does not control those sites and is not responsible for their contents, nor does the existence of a link imply any recommendation of, or association with, their owners. If a link on the Website leads you to content you consider unlawful or inappropriate, we would appreciate you letting us know so that we can remove it.
If you wish to place a link to the Website, it must point to the home page or to specific pages without reproducing our contents, without suggesting a non-existent relationship with Casa Cordobán and without associating our brand with unlawful or offensive content.
7. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law and, where applicable, by European Union legislation.
If you are acting as a consumer, this clause does not in any way limit the rights or the jurisdiction rules that consumer protection legislation grants you: you may bring a claim before the courts of your own domicile, and you retain the benefit of any more favourable mandatory provision of the law of your country of habitual residence within the European Union. For any dispute with users who are not consumers, the parties submit to the courts of the city of València, Spain.
Before resorting to legal proceedings, we encourage you to write to us at alvgar6b@gmail.com: the vast majority of issues are resolved with a conversation. As a consumer, you also have access to official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones), to municipal and regional consumer information offices in Spain, and to accredited alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entities for consumer matters. Casa Cordobán is not currently adhered to any alternative dispute resolution entity; you will find further information in the Terms and Conditions.
8. Validity and amendments
This Legal Notice shall remain in force for as long as it is published on the Website. Casa Cordobán may amend it to adapt it to legal developments or to changes in the store's activity; the applicable version shall always be the one published at any given time, with its update date shown at the foot of the page.
This is a courtesy translation of the Spanish "Aviso Legal", which is the legally binding version.
